healing is personal
Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m glad you’re here.
Therapy is about taking the weight off. Expressing things freshly. Seeing yourself and the world in a different light.
Whatever’s bringing you to this site, you don’t have to handle it alone.
You can gain the skills you need to become the best version of yourself, even after — or in the middle of — really hard times.
therapy with me
The modalities I use most are called gestalt and focusing. You can read more about them by following the links.
I work in an intuitive way, inviting you back into close contact with your body and your inner knowing. I collaborate with you, through moment-by-moment attention to what is alive in you, to fulfil your natural drive to live a wholehearted, successful life.
I offer a warm welcome to all the parts of you, particularly those parts that may be less accustomed to feeling welcome. That allows for a spirit of play and creativity to arise between us, even in the midst of dark or difficult subject matter. This blend of lightness and sincerity generates fresh ways of experiencing the challenging circumstances of our lives, and offers possibilities for healing and growing beyond stuck ways of being.
about me
I enjoy finding my own ways back to a sense of wholeness in a society that often causes fragmentation. I do this through spending time outdoors, connecting deeply with friends, writing, walking barefoot and learning new practical skills.
I like to spend my free time exploring urban and rural landscapes. I’m fascinated by how place shapes us, drawing forth certain elements of our personalities and deemphasising others. I find the creative implications of this exciting, and love to sense how differently I experience myself in new environments.
about you
You may be facing all kinds of life challenges and changes. Many of the people I support experience anxiety, overthinking, relationship difficulties, trauma and complex trauma, or are navigating big life events. Some particular groups I specialise in supporting are professional creatives, those with trauma and neurodivergent people. And if you don’t fit neatly into any of these categories — you’re in great company. Few of us do. Some find labels liberating. Some of the most interesting among us are less easy to contain. If you feel drawn to work with me, simply let me know and we’ll go from there.
