healing is personal
Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m glad you’re here.
Whatever’s bringing you to this site, you don’t have to handle it alone.
You can gain the skills you need to become the best version of yourself, even after — or in the middle of — really hard times.
Therapy is about taking the weight off. Expressing things freshly. Seeing yourself and the world in a different light.
therapy with me
The modalities I use most are called gestalt and focusing. You can read more about them by following the links.
I work in an intuitive way, inviting you back into close contact with your body and your inner knowing. I collaborate with you, through moment-by-moment attention to what is alive in you, to fulfil your natural drive to live a wholehearted, successful life.
My work is very meaningful to me, and I deeply value those who come into my practice space. I offer a warm welcome to all the parts of you, particularly those parts that may be less accustomed to feeling welcome. And in kind, I bring my own fullness as a human to our work. I respond honestly to what you share and how it affects me. The whole spectrum of you and the whole spectrum of me are free to be real with one another in the therapy space. That allows for a spirit of play and creativity to arise between us, even in the midst of dark or difficult subject matter. This blend of sincerity and humour enables fresh ways of experiencing the challenging circumstances of our lives, and offers possibilities for healing and growing beyond stuck ways of being.
about me
I am a gestalt therapist, and I also use a body-based technique called focusing. I am drawn towards these ways of working, which are holistic and offer tools for regaining our own inner authority, because the world we live in so often leaves us feeling fragmented. I enjoy finding my own ways back to a sense of wholeness, and supporting others to do the same.
I like to spend my free time exploring urban and rural landscapes. I also love spending time with my friends, reading and learning new practical skills
about you
You may be facing all kinds of life challenges and changes. Many of the people I support experience anxiety, overthinking, relationship difficulties, trauma and complex trauma, or are navigating questions around gender and sexual identity. Some particular groups I specialise in supporting are professional and aspiring creatives, those with trauma and neurodivergent people. And if you don’t fit neatly into any of these categories — you’re in great company. You can contact me to discuss how I can support you in your unique circumstances.
